It is time for restart!

Raumwelten goes into its ninth round from November 18 to 20, 2020 with the motto “Raumwelten 20 2 0 2.0 – Please Install New Spatial System Now!”: National and international scenographers, architects, philosophers, media professionals, digital artists, business representatives, and politicians discuss at Raumwelten onsite and simultaneously in digital space the question of how scenography, architecture, urban planning, and digital media creatively deal with the dystopic year of 2020.

Debut for a hybrid concept: Raumwelten Onsite and Online

Raumwelten takes place in hybrid form for the first time this year: onsite in its new venue at Karlskaserne Art Center in Ludwigsburg, and online at www.raum-welten.com offering live streaming, a media centre with architecture films, and a planned networking platform.

For international participants, all of Raumwelten will be available in English for the first time.

OVERVIEW OF RAUMWELTEN

Raumwelten Conference

The heart of Raumwelten is the conference with its five panels, which in very different ways address the motto. In addition, keynotes and meetings between universities and the industry at Raumwelten Talent extend the spectrum of the conference.

Raumwelten Public

Complementary to the central conference, Raumwelten is also offering a variety of public events this year, where interested citizens from Ludwigsburg and the Stuttgart region can experience spatial communication.

MOTTO 2020

How does spatial communication work in a (post-)pandemic time? Which opportunities and positive changes result from the coronavirus crisis? Raumwelten presents original, open, and positive ways of dealing with the new spatial limitations. Time to restart! Unavoidable.
